Can these tiles be installed on floor and wall?

A3 : Kebanyakan jubin kami boleh dipasang di lantai dan dinding jika permukaan jubin jenis matt (tidak licin). Tetapi ada beberapa yang hanya boleh dipasang di dinding sahaja kerana permukaan jubinnya glossy (licin). Jika tuan/puan ingin juga memasang jubin permukaan yang licin di lantai, ia hanya boleh dipasang di lantai kawasan kering sahaja.
Mostly our tiles can be installed on floor and wall if the tiles surface is matt. But some of tiles only can be installed on the wall because the tiles surface is glossy. If sir/madam insist to install the glossy tiles for floor, it can only be installed on dry area floor only.

What are the similarities and difference between ceramic and porcelain?

Perbezaan:
Difference:

• Proses pembuatan porselin perlu dipanaskan pada suhu yang lebih tinggiberbanding seramik. Disebabkan cara pembuatan porselin lebih kompleks, menyebabkan harga porselin lebih mahal berbanding seramik.
  The manufacture process of porcelain needs to be heated with higher temperature than ceramic. Because of the manufacture process of porcelain is more complicated than ceramic, the price for porcelain is higher than ceramic.
  
• Kadar serapan air: untuk jubin seramik kami ialah 3-6% iaitu hampir sebagus jubin porselin iaitu bawah 3%. (Sebab itu jubin kami sangat sesuai untuk lantai dan dinding).
  Water absorption rate: our ceramic tile is 3-6% which is almost as good as porcelain tile that is below 3%. (That is why our pattern tile are excellent for floor and wall application).
  

Can these tiles be installed at car porch?

A5 : Buat masa sekarang kami hanya menjual ‘deco tiles’ sahaja dan bukan ‘heavy duty tiles’. Jubin kami hanya boleh dipasang di kawasan car porch untuk beberapa tempat sahaja seperti dinding car porch dan laluan pejalan kaki. Tetapi tidak boleh dipasang bahagian parking zone kerana jubin kami tidak sesuai di kawasan heavy duty.
We only supply deco tiles only and we don’t have heavy duty tiles at the moment. Our tiles can be installed at certain car porch area such as car porch wall and walkway. But our tiles cannot be installed at parking zone because the tiles are not suitable for heavy duty area.

Why pattern tile is more suitable to install on floor compare to subway tile?

A6 : Kerana walaupun kedua-duanya diperbuat daripada seramik, tetapi kadar serapan air pattern tilekami lebih rendah berbanding subway tile.
Because even though both are made up from ceramic, but the rate of water absorption for pattern tile is lower than subway tile.

Kerana permukaan subway tilekami kebanyakannya glossy (licin) dan beralun berbanding dengan pattern tile kami yang permukaannya jenis matt (tidak licin) dan permukaan rata.
Because the surface of our subway tiles is mostly glossy and wavy compare to pattern tile which the surface is matt and flat surface.

What is homogenous tile? Which tile that is homogenous tile?

A7 : ‘Homogenous Tile’ ialah sejenis jubin porselin yang menyeluruh. Ini bermakna warna jubin tersebut terdapat di seluruh bahagian jubin. Kami mempunyai satu homogenous tile iaitu Hex Medium Mix Colour.
Homogeneous tiles are a type of full-body porcelain tile. This means that the colour of homogeneous tiles runs throughout the material. We have one homogenous tile which is Hex Medium Mix Colour.

What is rectified tile and non-rectified tile?

A8 : Kebanyakan jubin kita dah rectified. Semua pattern tile dah rectified.

Do you have any new tiles design?

A9 : Kami akan keluarkan design terbaru dari masa ke semasa. Kami akan sentiasa update di social media kami jika ada design baru yang lain. Sila nantikan!

Do these tiles have brand?

A10 : Jenama jubin ini ialah Jubin Cantik. Semua jubin kami memang direct dari kilang.

Does this tile have CIDB approval?

A11 : Kebanyakan jubin kami sudah mempunyai kelulusan CIDB.
Mostly our tiles already have CIDB approval.

Which country is this tile made of?

A12 : Jubin kami berasal dari beberapa negara. Salah satunya adalah China.
Our tiles come from various country. China is one of it.

How to cut the tile?

A2 : Jubin boleh dipotong menggunakan grinder atau tiles cutter.
Tiles can be cut using grinder or tiles cutter.

Is this tile can be installed on existing tiles?

A3 : Ya. Jubin kami boleh juga dipasang di atas jubin sedia ada tanpa hack/buang jubin tersebut dengan menggunakan salah satu cara di bawah:
Our tiles can also be installed on existing tiles without hacking/removing the tiles using one of the methods below:

• Guna High Grade tiles adhesive (simen gam).Ini mahal sikit dari simen gam biasa dan boleh didapati di kedai hardware. Kebanyakan kontraktor tahu tentang teknik ini. Boleh apply teknik ni untuk pemasangan tiles on tiles di Dinding dan Lantai. Outdoor dan Indoor.
  Use High Grade adhesive tiles (cement glue). These are a little more expensive than regular tiles adhesive and are available at hardware stores. Most contractors know about this technique. Can apply this technique for the installation of tiles on tiles on Walls and Floors. Outdoor and Indoor.
• Guna construction glue/adhesive(Commonly orang panggil Max Bond). Boleh apply teknik ini untuk pemasangan tiles on tiles di dinding dan Indoor sahaja.
  Use construction glue / adhesive(Commonly called Max Bond). Can apply this technique for the installation of tiles on tiles on the wall & Indoor only.
  

Take Note

• Secara umum, dari segi kos, penggunaan Construction glue/adhesive adalah mahal berbanding simen gam disebabkan kuantiti gam digunakan itu banyak.
  In general, in terms of cost, the use of Construction glue/adhesive is expensivecompared to cement glue because the quantity of glue used is large.
• Dari segi ketahanan lebih kurang sama.
  In terms of durability more or less the same.
  
• Kedua2 cara di atas akan menyebabkan surface timbulsikit lepas pasang sebab double tiles.
  Both of the above methods will cause the surface to rise slightlyafter installing due to double tiles.
• Kena pastikan jubin sedia ada kuat/tidak menunjukkan tanda2 nak tercabut untuk menampung berat tiles baru.
  Make sure the existing tiles are strong / do not show signs of want to be removed to accommodate the weight of new tiles.

Can install the tiles on the glass/mirror type of surface?

A4 : Boleh tapi tidak digalakkan untuk memasang jubin di atas permukaan yang jenis kaca/cermin kerana permukaan yang licin sukar untuk dipasang dan kita tak pasti sama ada permukaan tersebut kukuh untuk menampung berat jubin.
Can but not recommended to install the tile on a glass/mirror type surface because the glossy surface is difficult to install and we are not sure if the surface is strong enough to support the weight of the tile.

Can install the tiles on playwood?

A5 : Ya boleh jika plywood tersebut kukuh untuk menampung berat jubin dan tiada kesan nak tertanggal. Sila rujuk pada kontraktor untuk kepastian.
Yes, it is possible if the plywood is sturdy to accommodate the weight of the tile and there is no trace to be removed. Please refer to the contractor for confirmation.

Can install the tiles on uneven surface?

A6 : Tidak boleh. Kerana kesannya akan membuatkan jubin meletup, mudah tertanggal dan tidak tersusun cantik.
Cannot. Because it can cause the tiles get explode, easy detached and not arranged in a neat way.

Can these tiles can be drilled?

A7 : Ya boleh. Anda perlu menggunakan mata gerudi khas untuk gerudi. Kami sarankan untuk refer kontraktor yang berpengalaman mengenai ini. Alatan boleh didapati di kedai hardware.
Yes can, you need to use a special drill bit to drill. We recommend to consult with experienced contractor on this. Tools are available at hardware store.

Can we self-install the tiles?

A8 : Boleh jika anda mempunyai kemahiran pemasangan jubin. Jika tidak, disarankan untuk mengupah kontraktor yang berpengalaman untuk mendapatkan hasil yang kemas.
Yes, you can self-install the tiles if you know the technique. If not, we recommend you to hire the contractor who expert in tiles installation to get the neat result.

Is it strong enough to install using construction glue?

A9 : Ya, construction glue sangat kuat. Cuma anda perlu pastikan sama ada permukaan/jubin lama di dinding anda sesuai untuk memasang jubin baru dengan menggunakan construction glue. Permukaan/jubin lama di dinding perlu kukuh, rata atau kering tanpa ada kebocoran.
Yes can. Please refer to your contractor to make sure whether the surface of wall/floor is suitable to install the tiles using construction glue. The surface of tiles/wall needs to be strength, flat and dry with no leaking.

Do you sell installation tools?

A10 : Buat masa sekarang kami hanya membekal/menjual construction glue. RM9.50/botol. Pihak pengurusan kami juga sedang mempertimbangkan untuk membawa masuk alatan pemasangan yang lain di masa akan datang.
We only sell/supply construction glue at the moment. RM9.50/bottle. Our management also consider to bring other installation tools in the future.

Does this tile need to be soaked with water first before installing?

A11 : Teknik ini bergantung pada kontraktor, terpulang sama ada ingin rendamkan dulu jubin ataupun tidak. Tetapi kontraktor ramai yang memilih rendam dulu jubin untuk memudahkan simen gam melekat pada permukaan jubin. Tuan/puan boleh dapatkan khidmat nasihat kontraktor untuk lebih kepastian.
This technique depends on the contractor, depending on whether they want to soak the tiles first or not. But many contractors prefer to soak the tiles first to make it easier for the cement glue to stick to the tile surface. You can seek the advice of a contractor for more certainty.

What type of cement is installed between the tile chip?

A12 : Simen ini dipanggil grout filler. Teknik pemasangan simen antara cip jubin ini dinamakan ‘grouting’. ‘Grouting’ perlu dibuat selepas pemasangan jubin.
This cement is called grout filler. This technique is called grouting. Grouting should be done after tiles installation.

What is the function of grout?

A13 : Fungsi grout adalah untuk menutup bahagian gap antara jubin. Grout juga berfungsi untuk mengelakkan kotoran masuk di antara gap jubin.
The function of grout is to close the gap between the tiles. Grout also works to prevent dirt from entering between tile gaps.

What is the usual grout colour they use?

A14 : Putih/kelabu cair/kelabu gelap/hitam. Tetapi sebenarnya, warna grout datang dalam pelbagai warna. Boleh pilih ikut kreativiti dan pilihan anda.
White/light grey/dark grey/black. But actually, grout colour comes in various colour. Can choose according to your creativity and preference.

Can change to other grout colour after install?

A15 : Ya, boleh tukar tetapi agak mencabar kerana perlu kikis semula simen grout tersebut.
Yes, it can be changed, but it is quite challenging because you have to re -scrape the grout cement.

Between cabinet and tile, which one need to install first?

A16 : Kedua-dua teknik boleh. Tetapi untuk hasil yang kemas disarankan untuk pasang jubin dulu sebelum pasang kabinet. Dinasihatkan untuk refer kontraktor anda untuk maklumat lanjut.
Both techniques can use. But to get a neat result, it is recommended to install the tiles first before installing the cabinets. Need to consult with contractor for further information.

How to clean the tiles?

A2 :

• Tidak disarankan untuk mencuci Jubin dengan menggunakan berus kasar agar Jubin tidak tercalar.
  Not recommend to clean the tiles using sharp brush to prevent the tiles being scratch.
• Tidak disarankan untuk mencuci menggunakan ‘chemical acid’ yang tinggi. Boleh menggunakan Clorox tetapi perlu bancuh dengan air biasa.
  Not recommend to clean the tiles using strong chemical acid. Can use Clorox but need to mix with water.
  
• Boleh menggunakan pencuci Jubin biasa.
  Can use regular tiles cleaner.

The surface of tile is dirty with grout cement. How to clean it?

A3 : Permukaan jubin tersebut boleh dicuci dengan menggunakan ‘Mosaic Fluid’. Caranya adalah dengan menuangkan cecair tersebut di kain dan lap kotoran pada permukaan jubin. Kemudian segera cuci semula dengan kain lembab atau bilas dengan air (jangan biarkan lama).
Can clean the tiles surface using ‘Mosaic Fluid’. Pour the liquid on to the cloth and remove the dirt on the tiles surface. After that, clean up using wet cloth or using water (do not leave it for too long).

Is the grout difficult to clean?

A4 : Jubin kami sama seperti kebanyakan jubin yang ada. Begitu juga dengan cara pembersihan grout di antara jubin juga sama. Jika anda risaukan mengenai cucian grout, kami cadangkan untuk anda memilih koleksi Pattern Tile kami kerana jubin nya bersaiz besar dan jarak grout antara jubin kecil (kurang sikit cuci grout).
Our mosaics are no difference from common tiles you can find out there. So does the effort involved in cleaning the tiles also in between them. If you concern about grout lines, we suggest you to have a look at our Pattern Tile collections as they come in big size and have lesser grout lines to maintain.

Are these tiles ready stock?

A2 : Semua jubin kami ready stock melainkan dinyatakan di dalam website/whatsapp katalog ‘OOS’ (out of stock) atau ‘Low in Stock’. Cuma untuk collection jubin boleh dibuat bergantung pada jumlah ctn:
All tiles are ready stock unless it states in the website/whatsapp catalogue ‘OOS’ (out of stock) or ‘Low in Stock’. However, collection tiles can be made depends on order quantity:

Tujuannya, kerana pihak warehouse perlu QA/QC jubin dulu untuk memastikan pelanggan mendapat jubin yang tiada kerosakan.
The purpose is because the warehouse needs to QA/QC the tiles first to ensure that the customer gets the tiles that are free from damage.

Tiles collection?

A3 : Pengambilan jubin boleh dibuat sama ada:
Tiles collection can be made either:

• Pengambilan sendiri:Boleh ambil jubin 1-2jam selepas pembayaran ‘with checking’ (untuk pembelian 5ctn & kebawah) dan 1-2hari bekerja (untuk pembelian atas 5ctn) kerana pihak warehouse perlu QA/QC jubin dulu untuk memastikan pelanggan mendapat jubin yang tiada kerosakan.Namun jika anda ingin mengambil dalam hari yang sama walaupun barang melebihi 5ctn, kami boleh berikan ‘without checking’. Jika ada berlaku pecah, jubin tidak boleh ditukar. Terma syarat maklum seperti di dalam invoice.
  Self pickup: Can collect the tiles within 1-2 hour after payment with checking (for item purchase 5ctn and below) and 1-2 working days (for item purchase above 5ctn) because our warehouse team need to QA/QC tiles to make sure our customer receives the tiles that are free from damage.

  
  However, if you want to collect on the same day even though the item purchase more than 5ctn, we can release the tiles without checking. If there is a damage, the tile cannot be replaced. Terms and condition as mentioned in the invoice.

• Pengeposan:kami menyediakan khidmat pengeposan jubin ke seluruh Malaysia. Kos pengeposan bergantung pada berat tiles dan lokasi.
  Postage:we do provide courier service for tiles throughout Malaysia. Postage cost subject to weight of tiles and location.
• Penghantaran percuma: Untuk pembelian melebihi RM2,000. Tempoh penghantaran antara 5-7hari bekerja selepas pembayaran.
  Free delivery: For item purchase min RM2,000 and above. Delivery period within 5-7 working days after payment.

Can we purchase the tiles in loose quantity?

A4 : Ya boleh, tetapi hanya dibenarkan untuk repeating order sahaja.
Yes can, but only allowed for repeating orders.

Free delivery terms

A5 : Minimum pembelian RM2,000 dalam satu resit, Penghantaran akan dibuat pada 5-7 hari bekerja selepas pembayaran bergantung pada slot yang ada. Untuk kawasan Klang Valley sahaja.
With minimum purchase RM2,000 in single receipt. Delivery will be on 5-7 working days after payment depends on available slot. Cover within Klang Valley area only.

  Please ensure you make necessary arrangements for someone to be at your address to accept delivery of goods. If nobody is able to accept delivery of your goods, this may result in the goods returning to us and as a result any charges for redelivery may need to be paid by you.

If our delivery vehicle is kept waiting for an unreasonable time, or is obliged to return without completing delivery, or if We provide Additional staff to unload Goods, an additional charge will be made.

Can we buy the sample?

A6 : ID/Kontraktor boleh beli sample dengan kami. Sample untuk ‘end-user’ boleh dijual bergantung pada situasi:
ID/Contractor can purchase the sample with us. We also can sell the sample for end-user depends on situation:

• 10% discount hanya untuk ID/kontraktor.
  10% discount only for ID/contractor company.
• Pembelian sample perlu mengikut kuantiti yang ditetapkan oleh syarikat.
  Sample purchase should be in accordance with the quantity set by the company.
• Boleh berikan percuma sampleuntuk sample cip
  Can provide free of charge (FOC) sample for sample chip mosaic.

How many wastage that clients always add?

A7 : Biasanya mereka akan tambah dalam 5-10% wastage. Pelanggan juga boleh pilih untuk tidak tambah wastage. Jika tak cukup nanti jangan risau, boleh sahaja beli loose untuk repeat order.
Usually they will add 5-10% wastage. Clients can also choose not to add the wastage. But don’t worry if the tiles not enough as you can buy loose for repeat order.

Can we install in herringbone arrangement using subway tiles?

A8 : Ya boleh. Cuma perlu membuat penambahan dalam 15-20% dari jumlah subway tiles biasa kerana susunan tersebut perlu membuat banyak kerja pemotongan. Boleh dapatkan khidmat nasihat daripada pihak kontraktor.
Yes can. But need to add around 15-20% from normal quantity of subway tiles needed because herringbone arrangement needs to do a lot of cut work. Please seek advice from the contractor.
